Clive Slade brings over 30 years of international banking experience to his role as a Private Banker. His banking career started (1990) in the UK with Barclays Bank Plc. He was based in the beautiful English Lake District; mastering each role progressing to management before making the move to Canada.
In 2003, Clive moved to Canada, and with that, RBC. He had met a Canadian girl who was travelling her way around Europe and the UK. She brought him to Canada where they have now been married for over 20 years.
While working for RBC in various Senior Leadership roles, he earned his Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation. Clive's last role was as a successful, award-winning, Commercial Banker. As a trusted strategic advisor, he brings strong relationship management skills to his high-net-worth clients in London and the surrounding area.
As your dedicated Private Banker, Clive will take the time to discover what is important to you and your family, as well as your personal financial and wealth goals. Along with his team, which includes a Private Banking Associate and a Manager, Credit Structures, he will create a strategy and make recommendations on a plan of action that is right for each unique client situation. He also has access through the RBC network to call on a team of specialists, in Canada and key markets worldwide. This team enables him to provide a complete range of services - delivering integrated financial solutions to ensure clients' meet their goals through investments, business banking, estate planning, and Trusts, both domestic & international.
As a long-time resident of St. Marys & Perth County, he enjoys volunteering in his local community and supporting fundraising and awareness events. Clive currently offers his time and expertise, by sitting on the board for; Family Services Perth Huron, St. Marys Committee of Adjustments, and the St. Marys Heritage Committee.
When not working for his clients or volunteering, he enjoys spending his time with his wife, their two sons, and Harry the dog. In his leisure time, he is often found refereeing on a Rugby pitch, golfing or entertaining family and friends.

Grant attended Concordia University in Montreal where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1992. He holds three financial planning designations, a Specialist designation from the Trust Institute, and is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Grant has completed the in-depth tax program with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (Levels I, II and III).
Grant has over 25 years of progressive experience in various roles within the financial services field. In addition to his work with RBC Wealth Management, he is currently teaching Tax and Estate Planning courses for the Institut Québecois de Planification Financière to support the continuing education requirements of financial planners in the province of Quebec. Grant has also provided support to the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada as a subject matter expert and has taught financial planning courses at George Brown College in Toronto.
Mary obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario in 1983. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1985.
Following her call to the Bar, Mary was in private practice for 24 years, specializing in the areas of will and estate planning, estate administration, real estate and corporate law. Since 2011, she has worked exclusively in the areas of will and estate planning with a major trust company and a bank. Mary joined RBC Wealth Management in October 2016.
Mary is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Middlesex Law Association.
An Estate and Trust Advisor for the Southwestern Ontario region, Shannon brings more than 14 years of financial services experience to her work with individuals, families and businesses. Her depth of experience, coupled with her professionalism and dedication to client service, serves her well when dealing with the complexities of estate settlement.
Shannon understands that the role of executor is a difficult one with sometimes overwhelming responsibilities. She takes the time to make sure that clients are aware of the complete range of estate and trust resources offered by RBC.
Focused on executor services, she helps executors to identify where RBC can help to lift the burden of an executorship, whether in a simple administrative capacity like helping with specific tasks, or in a more comprehensive manner like carrying out the entire estate settlement process on their behalf
A graduate of Sheridan College with an advanced diploma in Business Administration – Finance, and a graduate certificate in financial planning, Shannon has continued to deepen her knowledge and expertise with key industry designations such as the Certified Financial Planning (CFP), MTI Estate and Trust Professional, and Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP).
As a highly skilled Estate and Trust Advisor, Shannon can discuss estate settlement and administration services, trustee services, trust structures, and other specialized services offered through RBC Royal Trust throughout Canada. She can also provide tailored solutions to help clients carry out their many executor duties and can help to expedite the settlement process, and maximize the estate’s value through knowledgeable handling of estate and tax issues.
