Albert attended the University of Waterloo where he completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Science and Business and a Masters of Accounting degree. He is a Chartered Accountant and spent eleven years with a large public accounting firm where he rose to the position of Senior Tax Manager. Prior to joining RBC, Albert was focused on providing professional services to an array of clients, from individuals and their owner-managed businesses to publicly owned entities.
Albert is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and has completed as well as tutored the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ In-Depth Tax Courses.
Albert believes that planning is critical to helping people meet their financial objectives. As a Financial Planning Specialist at RBC Wealth Management Services, Albert’s role is to work with and support your advisor in preparing and presenting comprehensive Compass Financial Plans for clients.

Grant attended Concordia University in Montreal where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1992. He holds three financial planning designations, a Specialist designation from the Trust Institute, and is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Grant has completed the in-depth tax program with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (Levels I, II and III).
Grant has over 25 years of progressive experience in various roles within the financial services field. In addition to his work with RBC Wealth Management, he is currently teaching Tax and Estate Planning courses for the Institut Québecois de Planification Financière to support the continuing education requirements of financial planners in the province of Quebec. Grant has also provided support to the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada as a subject matter expert and has taught financial planning courses at George Brown College in Toronto.
Mary obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario in 1983. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1985.
Following her call to the Bar, Mary was in private practice for 24 years, specializing in the areas of will and estate planning, estate administration, real estate and corporate law. Since 2011, she has worked exclusively in the areas of will and estate planning with a major trust company and a bank. Mary joined RBC Wealth Management in October 2016.
Mary is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Middlesex Law Association.
As a Will and Estate Advisor for the Ontario & Atlantic region, Stephen brings an approach to estate planning that centers on understanding and addressing the unique needs of each client. He works collaboratively with both the client and their trusted advisors to help craft a comprehensive and effective estate plan that meets their particular needs.
Stephen first graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Economics and Finance, before spending 15 years as a small business owner in the field of hospitality. In 2006, Stephen returned to Western, where he earned his Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law. During his time at law school, Stephen completed the Tax stream of concentration, and earned the James McKee Award for Excellence in Taxation. Upon graduation, Stephen articled with a national law firm in Toronto. After being called to the Bar for Ontario, Stephen ran his own general law practice for five years, with a focus on estates. He then joined a major Canadian financial institution in Toronto as Counsel and Senior Will and Estate Consultant with their Private Wealth Management division, before joining RBC in 2016.
Stephen is a member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP), and has successfully completed his Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) in insurance, as well as the Canadian Securities Course.
He enjoys being a Dad to his three sons, golf, running, and being an amateur chef.
