My name is Warren Andrukow and I head up the Andrukow Wealth Management Group from RBC Dominion Securities. At the end of the day, I think what we're really focused in on is providing one stop shopping for lack of a better term for our clients. With respect to all of their wealth management needs. I would say client education plays a huge role in what we do.
So before I got into this business I was a teacher for a number of years, and I didn't realize that that would be a useful skill set that was transferable to the investment industry. But I would say it certainly is. And it's been a great experience has served well in this industry. We obviously see many clients go through the phase where they're working towards retirement, and then they convert over to retirement. I can think of a husband or wife couple they had a small business that they ran for many many years, and for the last I don't know, probably 10 years or so, they were always talking about, OK, what do we need to do to get to retirement?
Because that was one of their big goals. I remember sitting in the meeting and I remember leaning over and saying to the wife, we're really close, we're almost there. And you could just see the smile laid up on her face and she was super excited. I think the most satisfying part about our job is the fact that we can help people, we can really make a difference for them. So we certainly enjoy that and being able to help people do that is really encouraging.
