As a Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified General Accountant, Certified Financial Planner and Financial Management Advisor, Karim is recognized as one of RBC's most accomplished portfolio managers. After starting his financial services career in 1981 with a major financial institution, Karim joined RBC in 1987, holding senior roles with the corporate treasury and RBC Private Counsel.
He manages investment portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, families, and private investment companies, athletes and entertainers.
When not working, Karim enjoys spending time with his two sons, Aqil and Kiyaan, playing Tennis, swimming and soccer. He also enjoys martial arts, golf, skiing and other outdoor activities.
