Jun 27, 2024 04:30 PM Pacific Daylight Time - Jun 27, 2024 07:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time
36th floor 1055 W. Georgia St. Vancouver, BC

Whether you’re building a career, working inside the home, partnered, married, divorced, widowed or solo, it’s important for you to take an active role in your financial life. At RBC Wealth Management, we are committed to delivering insights that educate, equip and engage you on your financial journey.

Please join us for this unique event where we will be joined by an expert panel of female professionals including a Wills and Estate & Lawyer, Insurance Specialist and Financial Planner. Facilitated by a recognized expert in the field, Jessica Youwe with NEI Investments, we will discuss the unique challenges faced by women investors that underscore the need for wealth planning.

  • Women have a longer average lifespan and may need to plan for longer retirements and greater health care expenses.
  • When it comes to managing investments, only 52% of women say they are confident compared to 68% of men — even when they post the same financial literacy scores.
  • Women have distinct financial goals and priorities that differ from their male counterparts, including family caregiving and philanthropic causes.
  • Canadian women seek greater access to financial literacy (78%), yet often fail to make financial planning a priority in their busy lives (27% versus 36% of men).

Women are an economic powerhouse and increasingly control Canada’s wealth. Despite these gains, women still face unique challenges that make planning a priority. Many women will ultimately be in charge of family finances at some point, making them responsible for their financial security and that of their families

Appetizers and a selection of fine wines will be served (including non-alcoholic wine options)

Attendance is complimentary, however, space is limited - Please RSVP by Friday, June 21st.
