Aileen started her financial services career over 30 years ago at Canada Trust in London Ontario.
While working with TD Canada Trust she spent time in Victoria BC from 1997-2001 where she earned her Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations. She also worked in San Antonio, TX with Edward Jones Investments while her family was stationed there from 2003-2004.
In 2005 she started her 16 year career with Scotiabank, splitting time from 2006-2013 with Scotia McLeod as an Investment Associate, and from 2013-2022 as an Associate Portfolio Manager with Scotia Private Investment Counsel.
Aileen has built a reputation among colleagues and clients for her ability to deliver a holistic wealth management approach and superior client experience. She was known to work closely with a surrounding team of wealth professionals during her career and she is extremely passionate about educating and empowering clients, especially female clients, to take control of their financial futures.
In her free time, Aileen enjoys spending time with her husband Ross and their close friends.
She enjoys the outdoors, running, cross country skiing, traveling and entertaining, and also attending Senators games – even if they are not very good.
She also is a baseball fan and she roots for the Blue Jays when visiting her daughters in Toronto and New York.
Aileen has also completed many more marathons than Chris (12!) and has trained in the martial arts. We be putting her in charge of our own personal safety.
Aileen has always been very passionate about helping other women, and this extends to her charitable intention over the years as she has volunteered at the Women's shelter and canvassed for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
