Josée is an investment professional with 33-years of experience in the financial industry, having joined the RBC Financial Group in 1986. She believes in the importance of building a strong relationship with her clients, while delivering her unique holistic approach to wealth management. Since joining RBC Dominion Securities, Josée has built a very successful practice through her down-to-earth management style, discretion and approachability. For this reason, to many of her clients, she is more than a portfolio manager - she is also a life advisor, helping clients evaluate their financial needs and create meaningful plans for the future.
Josée's approach to business is rooted in a philosophy she uses in her personal life, she believes in finding balance between all aspects of life. She is an active member of the Kingston community and is passionate about helping those in need by getting involved in whatever way she can with community organisations and initiatives. Over the years, this has involved both volunteering and philanthropic contributions because, for Josée, giving back to the community is a very rewarding experience. Her most recent endeavour was with the Providence Care Board of Directors as a Vice-Chair, though she also served on their Community Engagement Committee. In 2019, she was nominated for and awarded the Davies Award for Philanthropic Leadership for her work with Providence Care.
For Josée balance is also found through her family. She feels at home in both the city, where she grew up, and in the country, where she now lives with her husband and two border collies. With her husband, she raised two children of whom she is very proud, and now shares the joys of growing and harvesting their own very large vegetable gardens. In pursuing this balance and taking the time to enjoy life, Josée often travels with her family where she has particularly enjoyed walking the streets of Venice and the foothills of Florence. Most recently, her and her husband have started to enjoy the adventures of exploring life from the seat of a kayak.
