Jeff heads our Investment Management Group and brings to this role decades of experience as a private investor, 10 years as a senior economic advisor to the Ontario government and over 25 years working with private clients.
Previously, as Director of Provincial Investment, Jeff advised the Premier, Minister of Finance and Cabinet on major business programs and provincial initiatives as well as international trade negotiations,. His responsibilities also included policy overview and modernization of the financial services industry as well as the creation of the current Provincial pension plan programs.
Based on his professional achievements, RBC Dominion Securities has awarded Jeff accreditation as a Senior Portfolio Manager. He also holds the title of Chartered Investment Manager (CIM).
Jeff is a natural teacher and is committed to mentoring young professionals (and was formerly was a part time instructor for the Rotman School of Business’ MBA program at the University of Toronto).
In his spare time, he enjoys staying physically active by playing several sports (squash is his favourite) and running around after his five growing grandchildren. Somehow they always seem to keep him busy.
