Joyce Burnett graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island with a B.Sc. and from Dalhousie Law School with her Bachelor of Laws. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 1986.
Prior to joining RBC, Joyce practiced law exclusively in the areas of wills, estate planning, estate administration, trusts, and charities law for ten years. She has taught professional continuing education seminars for the Legal Education Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association.
Joyce is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Canadian Bar Association Wills and Estates, and Elder Law Subsections.
