Maya was raised in United Arab Emirates and has made Sherwood Park, Alberta her new home. She is a caring individual who loves to help and educate her clients and everyone around her. Outside the office, she gives back to her local community, and is involved in various volunteering opportunities at Mustard seeds, Little Worriers and the Sherwood Park food bank. Spending time with her family is her favourite pastime, and they enjoy travelling, cooking and watching movies together.
Joyce Burnett graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island with a B.Sc. and from Dalhousie Law School with her Bachelor of Laws. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 1986.
Prior to joining RBC, Joyce practiced law exclusively in the areas of wills, estate planning, estate administration, trusts, and charities law for ten years. She has taught professional continuing education seminars for the Legal Education Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association.
Joyce is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Canadian Bar Association Wills and Estates, and Elder Law Subsections. She has spoken at many public and private seminars on the importance of estate planning, including planning for incapacity and succession. She is a regular speaker during Edmonton Wills Week, sponsored by the Edmonton Community Foundation.
Joyce is also very active in her community where she has been involved with a number of charitable and non-profit organizations.
Having begun his career in the financial services industry in 2003, Denny has a range of experience working in both sales and management positions. He prides himself on fostering high-trust relationships and matching client goals with ideal solutions. Specializing in working with families, professionals and business owner clients, including extensive work with physicians, Denny offers unique and customized life and living benefits insurance-based solutions to meet your needs.
Denny is an active member of ADVOCIS, The Financial Advisors Association of Canada, which is the oldest and largest voluntary professional membership association of financial advisors and planners in Canada. He previously held a five-year board member position for ADVOCIS at the Edmonton Chapter.
