Irene's education and professional designations include a Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Management Accountant (C.M.A.).
As one might expect, Irene's expertise and advice are sought by much more than just her clients. Quite often, Irene is asked to appear on a variety of radio and television programs, and is approached by many newspapers and magazines for her thoughts on a variety of investment and financial matters.
In addition to her practical work, Irene wrote and published three books. In 1997, her first book was, "Your Money Matters". In 2000, her second book was, "Greater China and its Financial Market". In 2002, her third book was, "Investing in Greater China". All three books were sold in major cities across Canada, the US and Hong Kong.
Irene has been actively involved in many charitable and non-profit organizations. These organizations stand out because of her passionate involvement. She has held the position of Director of Export Development Canada, Chair of The Canadian Foundation for the Preservation of Chinese Cultural and Historical Treasures, Board of Governors of McMaster University, Director of United Way of Greater Toronto, Director of Ontario Trillium Foundation, Honorary Advisor of Carefirst Seniors & Community Services Association, Member of The National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy.
