Howard’s early love for investments and business set the trajectory for his professional life in the financial industry, ultimately leading to the emergence of the Tingley Mahoney Cyr Group. Howard graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 1985 where he completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on finance and accounting. Since 1990, Howard has made consistent investments in his business and his professional growth, having completed various industry courses. Howard obtained the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation and the Associate Portfolio Manager designation in 2012 and the Portfolio Manager designation in 2014. In 2022, he became a Senior Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor.
Howard is known for his strong values and integrity and is highly respected among his peers and colleagues in the financial industry. He also exemplifies leadership and is a dedicated mentor to his growing team. Howard’s approach to client service has been refined over the years and is now a philosophy he adheres to called Wealth of Life. This holistic approach encompasses investment management, financial planning, and knowing the unique needs of each client. When not at work, Howard’s main focus is his family and home. He and his wife Denise are always looking forward to family gatherings during the holidays and vacations with their four grown children, Erica, Garrett, Becca and Sam and their two grandchildren, Summer and Stella. Howard and Denise also love to travel and are often planning an itinerary for their next adventure. Howard can often be found outside keeping busy on his rural property as there are always lots of chores to do. He also spends his free time in his family woodlot clearing trails, getting firewood for the winter, or preparing for hunting season. Howard is a true outdoorsman and enjoys an active lifestyle of hiking, mountain biking, golfing, fishing, hunting, side x siding, snowmobiling, skiing, and snowshoeing.
