Marika graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Laval University. Following her graduation, she was hired in 2015 by the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). In 2018 she was given the opportunity to work for a division of RBC, named RBC Private Banking, a position which allowed her to work closely with investment advisors at RBC Dominion Securities. She then had the privilege of developing her expertise with a clientele of entrepreneurs, doctors and wealthy retirees. Her entrepreneurial motivation and analytical skills, combined with her passion for investing, led her to join RBC Dominion Securities.
Marika is very involved in hercommunity. She joined in the winter of 2023 the board of directors of the Alzheimer Society of Québec, an illness that closely affects her and her family. She also sits on committees of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Greater Lévis, namely the ''Relève CCIGL'' and the ''Comité Concours''. She is also a co-founder of “Les 100 Associés 2.0” networking gatherings, which aims to promote business development and to offer a unique platform to establish meaningful connections, exchange ideas and explore new opportunities within her community.
Marika is originally from Québec city. When she was 17, she had the opportunity to do a student exchange in Chile, which enables her today to speak Spanish fluently. In her free time, she plays a variety of sports including golf and tennis.
