Paule has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from l’École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) and a Master’s degree in Tax Law from the Montreal University. She has completed the Securities Dealers Course from the Canadian Securities Institute.

As a Chartered Professional Accountant, Paule has more than 30 years of experience in tax and estate planning consulting, in CA firms as well as in life insurance and securities dealer companies. Paule is a frequent lecturer at annual conferences and technical seminars of l’Association de planification fiscale et financière and other professional associations and an active writer of reference papers on tax and estate planning topics.

Paule is a member of the executive committee of STEP Montreal and is regularly involved in various committees of the Association de planification fiscale et successorale. Paule is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec, the l’Association de planification fiscale et successorale, the Canadian Tax Foundation, the International Fiscal Association and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Nelly holds a Master’s of Business Law from Université Paris 1 (Panthéon- Sorbonne), and a D.E.S.S. in International Business Law from Université Paris Descartes.She received her financial planner designation from the Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF) in 2004.

Nelly has over 15 years of experience as a financial planner. Before joining RBC, Nelly worked with financial advisors’ clients to optimize their financial position and wealth by creating strategic action plans customized to their needs.

Mathieu holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Université Laval. He is also a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and a Financial Planner (F.Pl.) duly registered under the Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF).

Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Mathieu was manager of the financial services branch in a Canadian securities firm where he provided sophisticated wealth management planning to High Net Worth individuals.

As a Financial Planning Specialist at RBC Family Office Services, Mathieu works jointly with your advisor to prepare and present your comprehensive Compass Financial Plan.

Stéphane began his career in the financial services industry in 1997 as a Financial Security Advisor. Intent on helping his peers succeed, he was promoted to a management role in 1999. Over the years, he has taken on ever-increasing responsibilities. Specializing in estate planning solutions, Stéphane is proficient at proposing and implementing innovative and effective tax solutions in response to a variety of wealth management needs. He designs personalized, insurance-based solutions, both for individuals and corporations, to help increase their net value, reduce the tax burden and protect wealth by relying on insurance solutions including life, living benefits and life annuity products. Stéphane is also able to assist you in setting up your policies to ensure that your wealth is transferred to your heirs according to your wishes.

Marie-Ève Lamontagne brings more than 14 years of banking and wealth management experience to RBC Wealth Management, Private Banking. As a Private Banker, Marie-Ève Lamontagne offers comprehensive wealth management and financing strategies to high-net-worth business owners, executives, professionals and their families.

Based in Quebec City, Marie-Ève works with a select number of clients in the local area to address their often-complex banking, credit and wealth management needs by offering tailored, seamless banking and financial solutions. The goal is to deliver unparalleled service while building lasting relationships based on trust and a thorough understanding of each client's unique needs and goals.

When necessary, she collaborates with specialists across RBC to offer clients a full range of complementary services. Marie-Ève draws on more than 10 years of experience at RBC, consisting of various roles in management, on the financial planning team and in Wealth Management.

After earning a bachelor's degree in business administration from Université Laval, Marie-Ève went on to upgrade her knowledge and expertise by obtaining her Financial Planner designation.

As a private banker, Marie-Josée advises high net worth clients with more complex structures and financial needs. With experience in business, finance and financial planning, Marie-Josée provides sound advice and solutions that meet her clients' objectives.

Marie-Josée is particularly knowledgeable about the needs of health care professionals, senior executives and entrepreneurs. She uses her skills in both accounting and financial planning to provide relevant advice. She actively participates with clients and partners in developing effective financial planning and wealth management strategies.

Marie-Josée possesses both a financial planner and chartered professional accountant designation. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting sciences from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.

Ms. Simard works closely with her clients to provide seamless, unparalleled banking and financial solutions for their often-complex banking and credit needs. Ms. Simard brings 19 years of financial services experience to her role, including 17 years with RBC. She began her RBC career as an account manager specializing in investments before pursuing her career as a financial planner, in which she worked closely with clients on the West Island of Montreal to comprehensively address their financial affairs. After moving to Toronto, she spent seven years in RBC roles including managing a financial planning team and as regional manager for RBC Global Asset Management.

Ms. Simard holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, specializing in accounting, from HEC Montréal, and a certificate in financial planning from the Université de Laval. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Joseph Di Niro began his career as a Notary in private practice at a notarial firm in Montreal. During this period, Joseph developed an expertise in Will and estate planning and also acquired specialized knowledge in estate settlements and non-contentious matters. To further his knowledge in the field of taxation, Joseph later joined a multinational accounting organization, where he specialized in tax planning for individual and corporate clients. Member of the Board of Notaries of the Province of Quebec (Chambre des Notaires du Québec) since 2010, Joseph obtained his Notarial Law Degree (D.D.N.) from Université de Montréal in 2009, after having obtained his Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) from the Université de Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in 2007. Joseph is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Taxation from the University of Sherbrooke.

As a Will and Estate Advisor for the Quebec Region, Frédéric provides estate settlement strategies and solutions that centre on understanding and addressing the unique needs of each client. He works collaboratively with clients, their families and trusted professionals in order to develop personalized multi-generational estate plans incorporating Wills, testamentary and inter vivos trusts, and protection mandates. Through this process, Frédéric helps families protect their legacy and facilitates its smooth transfer to the next generation.

Frédéric’s technical expertise complements his skill set in managing the complexities of family dynamics. He brings a compassionate, expert perspective that is welcomed by families who may be struggling with the difficult decisions that often accompany estate planning, whether it’s protecting an heir with a disability, providing for children from a previous union, minimizing family conflict or dealing with beneficiaries or assets that are situated outside of Canada.

Fully bilingual, Frédéric holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Université de Sherbrooke—he is a member of the Quebec Bar and practiced law for four years. Frédéric has continued to deepen his knowledge and expertise with key industry designations, such as the Trust and Estate Practitioner designation (TEP), and as a member of the Canadian division of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
