In 1985, a 24-year-old young man, with a freshly acquired bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Sherbrooke, boldly picks up the phone and calls the university’s professors to build himself a roster of clientele. I had never heard of finance and knew nothing about it, so I gladly took the bait. To this day, Richard Adam has been my financial advisor and, quite frankly, the best decision I’ve ever made!
With his warm approach and commitment to providing accurate information, Richard takes good care of his clients. He is reassuring when the situation calls for it, and always has a positive outlook. Having climbed the corporate ladder over the years, he is now Private Portfolio Manager. Although this has made our life easier, we all know that age has only made him more competent.
In 1997, he created Team Adam, which was advertised on the front page of La Tribune, Sherbrooke’s daily newspaper, for many years. I always enjoy connecting with this team and witnessing their exceptional work culture. Deeply attached to his hometown and his working-class neighbourhood roots, Richard enjoys getting involved in various causes to foster the development of his community.
People around me are jealous when I talk about the returns I got through his wise financial management. I donate my profits to different charities, so these good results become all the more meaningful.
