On Wednesday, March 9, we celebrated International Women's Day with an online and interactive event. We were joined by Manjit Sharma, Corporate Director & Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Woman, WXN 2019, Emma Rogers, CEO, Children's Foundation of Guelph and Wellington, and Lauren Power, Sales & Marketing Director, Tre Amici Wines. These three extraordinary women shared their personal and professional journey, and how gender-equality has played a role in their lives.

Through the RBC Foundation, we were able to provide support to a women's charity in our community - A donation of $2,500 was made to Guelph Wellington Women in Crisis.  Each of our guests also received a #BreakTheBias break cake from Sweet Temptations, a women-owned business in Guelph.

We recorded the online event and you can watch the video replay below.  We had technical difficulty with the recording, resulting in a portion of Manjit's story being missed. For those who were able to attend, her journey to #BreakTheBias was one that won't soon be forgotten.

Please mark your calendars! We are looking forward to hosting this event live and in-person on March 9, 2023.
