Building caring, long-lasting relationships, Cheryl has spent over 30 years, collaborating with affluent families, professionals, executives and business owners, while partnering with their trusted advisors. She believes risk management is at the foundation of every wealth plan, and is known for simplifying complex financial situations.
Cheryl has earned multiple industry designations, along with the Family Business Strategy Essentials Certificate from the Sauder School of Business. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, skiing, boating and traveling.
Melissa obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University in 1999 and earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Victoria in 2007. She was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 2008.
Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Melissa practiced law in Vancouver and specialized in estate planning and estate administration as well as small business corporate and commercial matters. Melissa assisted clients with a range of estate planning matters including drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and Representation Agreements as well as matters related to the administration of an estate, including applications for Letters Probate and Letters of Administration. Melissa also assisted clients with matters relating to a variety of corporate transactions including incorporations, corporate reorganizations, corporate financing, share and asset purchase and sale transactions as well as the drafting of various corporate commercial documents including shareholder agreements and partnership agreements.
Melissa is a member of the Canadian Bar Association Wills and Trusts Section (Vancouver).

Based in Vancouver, Sonya is dedicated to building solid financial foundations for her clients, listening to what is most important, being informed on what is unique to each client, and then addressing their often-complex banking, credit and wealth management needs. She does this by providing an exceptional level of service and advice, while helping her clients make connections to experts.
As needed, Sonya will access specialists from across RBC in order to work collaboratively to provide a complete range of complementary services. These include investment management, estate and legacy planning, trust services, as well as sophisticated credit and leveraging strategies to support individual short and long term goals.
Sonya is proud to offer an extensive background in supporting valued client relationships in her role as Private Banker. This includes 30 years of experience within RBC, consisting of a wide range of roles in Retail Banking, Branch Leadership, Small Business, and Commercial Banking.
Over the years, since graduating from Simon Fraser University, Sonya has continued to deepen her knowledge and expertise. She has completed several professional designations, including the Certificate in Financial Services Advice.
Away from the office you will find Sonya out and enjoying nature. This includes hikes in the forest, kayaking on the lake, or getting out on the ocean on a new boat. On vacations you might also find her enjoying some beach time in Mexico or travelling to Italy to visit family. A big supporter of the community we all work and play in, Sonya has participated as Cabinet Member of the RBC Annual Employee Giving Campaign, and is an Inner Circle member and ongoing volunteer and supporter of the YWCA of Metro Vancouver.
William brings more than a decade of experience in the wealth management industry to his role as Private Banker. He and his team provide holistic wealth planning and private financial counsel to a select group of high net worth individuals, business owners, incorporated professionals, executives, and their families throughout the Greater Vancouver Area.
William starts by understanding each clients' wealth planning goals, aspirations, and priorities through a dedicated and holistic approach ensuring he gets to know his clients and builds a trusted relationship for the long term. As a senior strategic advisor, William provides his clients with sophisticated banking, personalized short and long-term credit solutions, and flexible cash management. He will also draw upon the expertise of other top experts from across RBC to bring his clients an unparalleled range of innovative solutions and services. Depending on his clients' needs, these services may include will & estate planning, domestic and international trusts, commercial banking, commercial real estate, financial planning, business owner planning, and discretionary & non-discretionary investing. William also coordinates with his clients' other professional advisors, such as lawyers and accountants to deliver comprehensive and integrated wealth management.
Prior to joining Private Banking, William held wealth planning roles at RBC Dominion Securities and RBC Wealth Management Services advising clients in the areas of investment management, retirement, tax, estate & trusts, business succession, and philanthropy. With his professional background, he is familiar with various wealth strategies, opportunities, and concerns as he has worked with clients of various professions and life stages: incorporated professionals, business owners, executives, professional athletes, retirees, and pre-retirees.
William holds the Chartered Investment Manager® (CIM) and Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) designations. Away from the office, he enjoys golfing, travelling, and exploring the vast and diverse culinary scene in Vancouver.
