Senior Portfolio Manager & Wealth Advisor
Well known for his management discipline, integrity, and objectivity, Benoit makes sure he understands our clients' specific financial needs and then builds a portfolio that is adapted to their unique situation. With the collaboration of his team, he is responsible for the selection of securities and the monitoring of the various investments that make up our clients’ portfolios. He continuously seeks to improve the discipline and methodology of his practice in order to maximize long-term returns while reducing risk.
Benoit holds a bachelor's degree in international management from the Université du Québec à Montréal and joined RBC Dominion Securities in 1995. He has since won several awards, including those from RBC Dominion Securities, and has also earned several professional designations, including Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).
Father of two daughters, Benoit is very involved in their activities. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, music, and American football. He also enjoys travelling with his family.
Associate Wealth Advisor
As an associate wealth advisor, Tricia is responsible for maintaining relationships with clients and guiding them through the wealth management process. She is the first point of contact and is present every step of the way. In addition to providing exceptional service, she works with Benoit to ensure that our clients' financial goals are met and that their wealth is managed in the best possible way.
Tricia began her career with RBC Dominion Securities in 1993. She has a degree in finance and has completed several professional development courses.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and discovering new culinary trends. As a mother of four children, she is very involved in all of their activities.
Associate Wealth & Investment Advisor
Sophie ensures that our clients’ portfolios and wealth are managed in a cohesive and consistent manner. She leverages her extensive expertise to offer them customized solutions and support their unique needs.
Sophie has been working as a securities professional since 1998. She has obtained her Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, and regularly takes classes and training to further sharpen her knowledge.
A devoted mother of a girl and a boy, she enjoys family time, good meals with friends, and travel.
Associate Investment Advisor
With more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, Carlo’s expertise and unmatched analytical capacity make him an invaluable asset to the Benoit Legros Group.
Carlo earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance with distinction from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. He has since earned the coveted titles of Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). In December 2018, he passed the financial planner exam offered by the Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF) and obtained the official designation of Financial Planner, and has successfully completed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.
In his spare time, Carlo enjoys spending time with his family.
Suzana joined Benoit Legros Group in 2017. She is passionate about stock trading and portfolio management, and is responsible for executing securities transactions and making sure our clients’ portfolios are squarely in line with their investment policy statement. She also supports Benoit in implementing investment strategies.
Suzana began her career in 1992. She has held a certificate in the insurance of persons since 2002, and obtained her Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) title in 2016.
As a mother of a little girl who keeps her on her toes, Suzana enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, travelling.
Investment Associate
Mario began his professional career in financial services in 2019 at RBC Direct Investing. He is passionate about finance and the economy, and supports our team by executing trades and assisting Benoit with his research. Together they determine which companies best align with our team’s overall investment strategy.
Mario earned the title of CFA charterholder in 2023 and has also completed the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course from the Canadian Securities Institute. Additionally, he earned a Master’s Degree in International Finance from EADA Business School in Spain.
In his spare time, Mario enjoys watching sports, namely Formula 1, tennis, and soccer. He also enjoys working out and playing soccer.
Senior Associate
Having distinguished herself for her excellent service and versatility, Julie is at the forefront of understanding our clients' needs. She is skilled at answering questions, executing requests, and following up on specific needs. Julie works in close collaboration with our advisors to help achieve the financial objectives of our clients.
Julie began her career in 1996 and joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2005. She studied business administration at the School of Management Sciences at the Université du Québec à Montréal and was further trained in wealth management by RBC Dominion Securities. Additionally, she is licensed as an investment representative with the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada.
Julie is the proud mother of a young daughter and enjoys doing outdoor activities, no matter the season. She also volunteers at her daughter’s school and sits on its governing board.
Daniel is in charge of administrative tasks such as opening accounts and processing and monitoring transfers, deposits, and withdrawals. His analytical skills and attention to detail have earned him a number of professional distinctions over the years.
With more than 30 years of experience in the securities industry, he has held the positions of client service representative and documentation manager at one of the country’s largest branches of RBC Dominion Securities.
Still very involved with his four adult children and two grandchildren (twins), Daniel is also an avid reader, big football and hockey fan, moviegoer, and comic book enthusiast.
Associate
After moving from the United States in order to pursue his studies, Jackson started working at RBC Dominion Securities in the fall of 2020. For the first year and a half of his career, he worked with the competitive hire team, helping new hires and their clients integrate into RBC Dominion Securities. This position exposed Jackson to the industry as a whole and piqued his curiosity. He officially joined the Benoit Legros Group in 2022, where he currently handles creating documentation, account openings, and other administrative tasks.
Jackson has a Master’s Degree in Music from McGill University. In his spare time, Jackson can be found practicing the piano, cooking, hiking, or swimming.
Amanda began her career at RBC in 2014 as an in-branch account manager on the retail side. Since then, she has completed the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) course and looks forward to deepening her financial education. Furthermore, she hold a bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology from Concordia University.
Amanda joined RBC Global Asset Management in 2018, and decided to join the Benoit Legros Group at RBC Dominion Securities in order to take on a more client facing and marketing role.
A loving mom to a lovely little girl, Amanda loves spending time with her family.
