Yes, it is extremely important to have an effective estate plan in place to protect your family, your wealth and your legacy. We always recommend a review of your existing estate plan with our Will and Estate specialist. Trent works with our clients to establish this and ensure it is kept up to date. Additionally, we have a trust specialist Cindy. She can provide insight and solutions for wills, trusts, executor services, etc.
There are many things to consider and we are happy to discuss your specific circumstances in more detail with you. Typically, we meet at least semiannually with our clients. We can meet more or less frequently based on your preference. In addition to meetings, we make ourselves available to you by phone and email to address any questions that arise, provide updates and stay in touch.

Clients have 24hr access to view their accounts online with our online DS platform and mobile app. Additionally, you will get statements on a quarterly basis or monthly if there is activity in the account. We can have a conference call or leverage virtual meeting technology so we can see each other and present strategies and documents to you with ease. In addition, Troy also travels to Alberta, Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto a few times a year to meet clients in-person.

We often work with clients that are transitioning from other advisors. We will work closely with you to support you through the transition, minimize any complications and ensure you are informed along the way. If there are any fees associated with transferring funds or closing out your account with that institution, we will cover the costs.
