With over 20 years of investment industry experience, Steve has now been with RBC for 10+ years. Following an undergraduate degree in economics and a few years gaining “life experience” through various jobs and tending bar in England and Ireland, Steve completed his MBA in Halifax, while at the same time enrolling in the CFA program. While beginning his career in Toronto dealing with institutional clients, Steve continued with the demanding CFA program, successfully passing all three exam levels in the minimum amount of time – 3 years. After gaining additional experience with firms in Ottawa and Montreal, Steve and his family found their way back to Halifax in 2007. It was at this time that Steve switched gears and found his true passion for working directly with families and professionals and building long lasting relationships, many that continue to this day.
Steve, his wife and three children are sports oriented and love staying active, whether it’s close to home in Nova Scotia or taking on a new adventure abroad. With a wonderful community of family and friends, they are happy to call Halifax home and make an effort to give back wherever possible.
