I’m excited to share that my wife Aveeve and I had a daughter recently. Leila Jane McLaughlin showed up a couple of weeks late on February 13th (Aveeve and I, having read Malcolm Gladwell’s Outliers, were excited for a January baby). Everyone is excellent, and Leila surprises us every day with how curious she is. Sleep is, of course, at a premium in our household, but we’re muddling through. To be fair, Aveeve is excelling at being a fantastic mother; I’m bumbling along as best I can.
