10 investment mistakes to avoid:
In my opinion, financial success has a lot to do with our own behavior and how we make decisions. Human nature makes us all vulnerable. A big part of my role is to help you avoid those common mistakes:
- Panic
- Euphoria
- Under-diversification
- Over-diversification
- Speculating instead of investment ( and not knowing the difference)
- Investing strictly for yield instead of total return considerations.
- Excessive borrowing ( Financial leverage )
- Procrastination
- Inability to trust someone else
- Being impressed by the medias
Here is a quote I like from famous investor Warren Buffett:
“To invest successfully over a lifetime does not require a stratospheric IQ, unusual business insight, or inside information. What’s needed is sound intellectual framework for decisions and the ability to keep emotions from corroding that framework.”
Always a pleasure to help you,
