Raymond offers a wealth of knowledge and experience as your Wealth Advisor, and is a rare professional in terms of his education and expertise.

Raymond started his career as an equities trader with a multi-national principal trading firm, where he was responsible for managing a discretionary investment portfolio during the recent Financial Crisis.  Choosing to join RBC in 2011, Raymond leads a team of highly accredited professionals, and leverages his unique background to provide affluent individuals, business owners and their families with a level of sophistication not readily available in the industry.

Raymond graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering & Bioengineering, and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designations, and is a Fellow of Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). 

Having lived in Mississauga since 1987, Raymond is active in the community and volunteers his time as Vice-President of Finance for the Young Professionals Board of Mississauga Chinese Business Association, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Brampton Chinese Business Association.  A value investor at heart, Raymond spends a weekend in Omaha every year to hear Warren Buffett speak at the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholder's Meeting.

Prashant Patel, ASA, CFP, TEP

Prashant has assisted high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families with tax, estate and retirement issues since 1992.

Prior to joining RBC in 1999, Prashant honed his expertise by working as a Canadian and U.S. tax specialist for two of the big four accounting firms in Toronto. Prashant is a Certified Financial Planner, Associate of the Society of Actuaries and member of both the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and Canadian Tax Foundation.

His guidance supports clients in their relationships with their external professional advisors, with whom he frequently interacts.

His expertise includes tax and estate planning for executives, business owners, retirees, sports professionals and individuals with U.S. issues. He also assists individuals facing significant financial events (sale of business, financial windfall, retirement, job loss, moving to Canada, leaving Canada, etc.)

Ken Mau, CPA, CA

Ken specializes in tax and estate planning for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, especially those who recently arrived into Canada.

Ken collaborates with these families and their professional advisors to formulate wealth planning strategies that will help achieve their financial goals.  These include tax and estate planning, business succession planning, trust and fiduciary planning and international wealth transfer strategies and solutions.  With 10 years of experience in serving private clients immigrating from abroad, Ken discusses wealth planning for newcomers to Canada through his broad knowledge and expertise in international and multi-jurisdictional tax, estate, and trust planning. 

He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and is a frequent speaker at numerous well-attended international and domestic forums and seminars for ultra/high-net-worth audiences.

Grant Henri, CFP, PFP, Pl.Fin., TEP

Grant attended Concordia University in Montreal where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1992. He holds three financial planning designations, a Specialist designation from the Trust Institute, and is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Grant has over 25 years of progressive experience in various roles within the financial services field.  In addition to his work with RBC Wealth Management, he is currently teaching Tax and Estate Planning courses for the Institut Quebecois de Planification Financiere to support the continuing education requirements of financial planners in the province of Quebec.  Grant has also provided support to the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada as a subject matter expert and has taught financial planning courses at George Brown College in Toronto. 

Grant specializes in identifying strategies and solutions that are customized to meet your personal and business planning objectives.  Tax, business risk, succession, and retirement strategies, some that are particular to the business owner/manager, will be identified for discussion with your lawyer and accountant.

Rebecca Henri, CFP, TEP

Rebecca has been working in a financial planning capacity since 1999 and brings to her role much care in helping clients meet their goals. She has a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree from Trent University and has maintained an ongoing commitment to continued learning in the areas of tax, estate and business owner planning. 

Rebecca holds the Certified Financial Planner designation, is registered as a Full Life Agent with Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Rebecca has also taught retirement planning at George Brown College in Toronto.

Rebecca works extensively with high net worth clients including business owners, executives and professionals, and has considerable expertise with more advanced tax and estate planning strategies.  To help you properly coordinate your financial matters and optimize the unique opportunities available to you, Rebecca prepares a comprehensive Financial Plan that will consider strategies to maximize your cash flow, reduce taxes, ensure your retirement lifestyle, protect your financial security, transfer wealth to next generation tax-efficiently and make the most of your philanthropic legacy.

Catherine Nicholls, LL.B., TEP

Catherine received her Law Degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1978 and has been a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1980.  Catherine is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. 

She was a partner in a small law firm and primarily practiced law in the areas of residential real estate, Will and Estate planning and estate administration.  Catherine joined a major trust company as a Senior Will and Estate Planner in 1996 and has since then focused exclusively on this area of law. 

She continues to focus on Will and Estate planning with RBC, and works closely with clients to review their will and structure their estate in a tax-efficient manner, creating a report outlining various estate planning issues for you to explore in greater detail with your lawyer or accountant.

Megan Brown, LL.B., TEP

Megan completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University, obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1998.  For most of the fifteen years following her call to the bar, Megan was in private practice, specializing in the areas of estate planning and administration, incapacity planning, trust planning and administration, family business succession and charities law.  Megan joined RBC Wealth Management in February 2013.

Megan is a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner with STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and has completed Levels I and II of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course.
