Raymond graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering & Bioengineering, and started his career as an equities trader with a multi-national firm in the US, where he was responsible for managing the firm's own capital during the recent Financial Crisis. Choosing to join RBC in 2011, Raymond leads a team of highly accredited professionals, and leverages his unique background to provide high net worth individuals, business owners and their families with a level of sophistication not readily available in the industry.
Raymond is a licensed Portfolio Manager and Financial Planner, and holds a number of advanced industry designations, including the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designations, and is a Fellow of Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).
Having lived in Mississauga since 1987, Raymond is active in the community and volunteers his time as Vice-President of Finance for the Young Professionals Board of Mississauga Chinese Business Association, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Brampton Chinese Business Association. A value investor at heart, Raymond spends a weekend in Omaha every year to hear Warren Buffett speak at the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholder's Meeting.
