We help you, your family, and/or your business navigate the complexities of managing wealth by serving as an honest guide, so we can prepare you for, and help you realize, your ideal financial future. This includes:

  • A comprehensive financial plan that helps answer important questions, including, but certainly not limited to, “Will we have enough to maintain our lifestyle in retirement?” “Do I have sufficient insurance to take care of my family?” “What’s my plan for business succession?”
  • Access to a vast network of wealth management experts, and a coordinated approach with your existing advisors
  • Our expertise and passion for giving back. We can help you elevate your communities and causes with smart philanthropy solutions

Investment approach

Our clients sometimes ask, “what do you personally invest in?” It’s one of Perry’s favourite questions because he invests alongside our clients. We consider you and your family, extended members of our own, and aim to build an all-encompassing wealth plan and investment strategy that captures what’s important to you.

We focus on managing the overall risk of your investments and managing the tax impact. From there, we build portfolios that reflect your personal risk tolerance and investment objectives by aiming to combine the best from three investment categories:

  • Individual securities (e.g., stocks and bonds) – these investments provide flexibility, transparency and allow us take advantage of opportunities in a targeted manner.
  • Alternative investments (e.g., Global Infrastructure) – we work with third-party experts to capitalize on unique opportunities that can improve returns and reduce the overall risk of your portfolio.
  • Passive investments (e.g., exchange-traded fund) – we focus on diversified access to certain markets, so we can spread out risk while maintaining exposure to potential growth.

Implement

We take pride in “doing what we say we’ll do.” This includes implementing your investment and wealth strategies promptly and with attention to detail. At all times, we take care in ensuring you are comfortable with the strategy and circle back to ensure it is still the case as your goals and preferences evolve.

We coordinate with the appropriate Wealth Management services specialists and follow up with you throughout the process.

This follow up is necessary to ensure we have the information needed to continue tackling your priority list, and to give you confidence that we’re one step closer towards your ideal financial future.
