Using your assets to create positive change
One area of wealth management that I feel should be given more attention is the concept of Impact Investing – the ability to deploy your financial assets to not only enhance long term returns but also fund corporations, entrepreneurs and initiatives that are working towards making positive impacts to our society.
Climate change is the latest pressing issue that we are faced with. The science on climate change is clear. Climate change will have impacts on economies, markets, and societies, posing both risks and opportunities.
As a father to 2 young boys, I feel that not addressing the issue of climate change will prevent them and future generations from enjoying a future full of endless opportunities. This is the reason I am passionate about Impact Investing and working with clients to find ways to address climate change.
