Najia Crawford

     Najia is a trusted investment advisor to affluent Canadians in the field of wealth management, licensed by the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada. Her main role is to build, grow and protect your wealth by following a highly disciplined and sophisticated investment approach.

     Prior to starting her practice at RBC Wealth Management, Najia worked at top-tier global investment firms which provided her with vast experience in capital markets, and in-depth knowledge of financial instruments. In these previous roles, Najia provided financial recommendations to investment advisors and portfolio managers. This experience resulted in her advanced ability to identify investment opportunities and design portfolios to minimize risk.

     With her team, Najia takes care of your entire financial well-being by providing you with a comprehensive wealth management experience. This means helping you in areas such as financial planning, retirement planning, tax planning, wills and power of attorney reviews, estate planning, trusts and executor services, banking, insurance, … and of course investments. Najia provides these services to clients in English, French, Urdu/Hindi and Punjabi.

     As a life-long learner, Najia enjoys reading and continuously educating herself on topics such as finance, the economy, and geopolitics. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from York University. In addition, she has completed several industry courses such as the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Conducts and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) and the Wealth Management Essentials Course (WME). She is also in the process of attaining the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation, the only current and complete portfolio management program with a Canadian focus.

     During her free time she likes to do yoga and run. She is passionate about her family and friends, and cherishes her time with them. She loves hosting them at her home, and together they also enjoy activities such as traveling, skiing, playing tennis or golf. Najia is very involved in the Oakville community and supports several local charities. On an international level, a cause that is most important to her is to improve the level of girls’ education in developing countries.
