To celebrate Clementine’s birthday our team decided to have lunch at a newer restaurant called Mason-Dixon Kitchen + Bar. This quaint restaurant, located on Preston Street, features southern smokehouse cuisine. We could smell the mouthwatering aromas of smoked meats as we walked up to the entrance. Inside, the restaurant is filled with unique and fun artwork of personified condiments and meats, and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

 

The lunch menu offers traditional barbeque options like smoked or fried chicken sandwiches, burgers, and beef ribs. They also offer new twists on old classics such as the Kale Grilled Cheese Sandwich that Dawn tried and loved! They offer creative cocktails from the bar, including a Pisco Sour and a spicier twist on the Classic Caesar. Tracey and April ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and learned that the proceeds from this meal go towards supporting homeless youth through Meal Share. This was a fabulous way to celebrate Clementine’s birthday as a team, and support a newer business in our community. The overall consensus: the food was delicious!
