Mark Chabot has worked in the financial services industry for over 25 years. Since beginning as a teller at RBC in 1992, he has built strong relationships with his clients, their families and businesses, underscored by his dedication to excellent service and an integrated, streamlined wealth management experience. He has worked with high net worth clients since June 2000.
Mark holds a bachelor of commerce degree from McGill University in Montreal, specializing in finance and entrepreneurship, which gave him unique perspective into the needs and preferences of business owners and family enterprises. Committed to ongoing professional development, he earned the Institute of Canadian bankers (ICB) Letter of Accomplishment and Associate designation (AICB) in 1997, the Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designation in 2001 and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2002. In recognition of his continued education, he was named a Fellow of The Canadian Securities Institute in 2007.
Mark lives with his two young sons, Ryan and Sam, in Burlington where he coaches their minor hockey teams. Mark is also committed to volunteering for local causes. He has actively fundraised for the Canadian Cancer Society and the United Way Halton/Hamilton. Outside of the office, and when his schedule permits, he loves to keep fit through, golf, hockey, and hot yoga.
