Senior Portfolio Manager
Bobby understood early the importance of a strong work ethic; one to work harder and smarter, bearing a strong entrepreneurial spirit from the start. Following his graduation from Concordia University in 1994, he established his own wealth management team at RBC Dominion Securities, and proved to be among the top-performing investment advisors of his cohort.
Nearly three decades later, Bobby has made a name for himself as a hardworking, trustworthy, and dedicated custodian of clients’ capital, willing to make tough calls to grow and preserve his clients’ wealth, well beyond their retirements. Bobby focuses on getting to know his clients and what’s important to them deeply. “I pretty much know everyone’s whole life story,” he says. “I know what drives my clients, what’s important to them.”
Bobby gets a strong sense of satisfaction from offering his clients financial peace of mind – for life – and ensures that they are financially set. Similarly, Bobby likes to give back beyond his work. Over the years, he has participated in various charitable events, such as the Ride to Conquer Cancer from Montreal to Quebec City, raising funds for the Montreal Jewish General Hospital. He also summited Mount Kilimanjaro in January 2011 to help raise funds for the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
Bobby has three children who keep him busy with sports, travel, and spending time at the cottage. He enjoys staying active by playing soccer, hockey, and golf.
Wealth Associate
After completing a degree in finance at McGill University, Jenny joined the workforce as a unit coordinator at a hospital. A few years later, a friend of hers recommended she bring her hardworking nature and strong organizational skills to RBC. Jenny joined the Piazza team in 1999, and has since been a right-hand person to Bobby.
Jenny is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our business, including everything from client care to supporting staff. She also plays an integral role in the ongoing management of portfolios and trading. Jenny keeps the team in line and sets a high bar for success – for herself, her colleagues, and her clients – garnering tremendous appreciation from those around her. “Jenny is not one to take ‘I don’t know’ for an answer, and we are all beneficiaries of that. She will drill down until she gets the information we need,” says Bobby. “More than that, she is the glue that keeps our team together.”
Jenny has complemented her 20-plus years of experience, professional drive, and dedication to our clients with industry coursework, including the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Conduct and Practice Handbook (CPH) Course, the Derivatives Fundamentals Course (DFC), and the Options Licensing Course (OLC).
Outside of work, Jenny enjoys travelling with her husband, particularly to Greece or California to visit family. She also enjoys exploring local gems, and discovering what her own neighborhood and city have to offer.

Shipra always had a strong passion for numbers and went on to study mathematics and statistics at Concordia University. After graduating, she worked at multiple jobs, seeking a position that would combine the highly technical analytical nature of her industry with human-focused problem solving. Shipra eventually found her fit at RBC in 2011, starting as a customer service representative and transitioning to an account manager role.
In 2020, Shipra was looking for a different challenge and sought out a team that encouraged open-mindedness and ambition – and found the Piazza Wealth Management team. As an administrative assistant, she is primarily responsible for preparing portfolio reports and organizing client meetings. She also helps keep the team organized, completing clients’ requests and team tasks with speed and precision. “Shipra is a quick talker and has the wit to match,” says Bobby. “She’s a natural at everything she sets her mind to. It’s no wonder she fits in so well with the team.”
To further her commitment to her clients, Shipra has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practice Handbook (CPH) Course.
At work and at home, Shipra is a busy bee. She’s always on the move, trying to get her young kids outdoors. “Anything to get them off the screen,” she says with a laugh. She is pleased to say that her children encourage her to try new activities and attempt new sports.
