Jung-Hee obtained her Honours Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Toronto, followed by her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Schulich School of Business, York University. After working in the industry for over 10 years, Jung-Hee returned to school full time for further education and completed her Master of Taxation (MTax) degree at the University of Waterloo.
Prior to joining RBC, Jung-Hee worked at a Big 4 public accounting firm in Toronto as a tax manager in the High Net Worth Tax Services group. She is currently pursuing her Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Canada.
Jung-Hee believes that planning is critical to helping people meet their financial objectives. Her role is to work with and support your advisor in preparing and presenting comprehensive Compass Financial Plans.
High Net Worth Planning Specialists
As a Vice President, High Net Worth Planning Services, James, together with your primary RBC advisor, helps you explore succession, tax, retirement and estate planning issues you face as a high-net-worth client.
James spent the majority of his career in various capacities advising owners of privately held businesses. Prior to joining RBC, he spent 12 years at another major national financial institution as the Vice President of Succession Planning. In that role, James developed several best practices around succession planning that take into account the unique culture of Canadian family businesses. Many of these practices are shared in the book he co-authored, “The Transition Experience – What every Canadian family business owner should know beyond succession planning”, released in December 2011.
James is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator and is a frequent presenter on business succession planning. He obtained his degree, Masters of Commerce from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.

As a Business Owner Specialist, High Net Worth Planning Services, Bobby, together with your primary RBC advisor, helps you explore succession, tax, retirement and estate planning issues you face as a business owner.
Bobby has over 15 years of experience working with owners of privately held businesses to help them develop business succession, tax and estate planning solutions tailored to their goals and objectives. Prior to joining High Net Worth Planning Services, Bobby provided tax, retirement, estate and financial planning advice to RBC advisors and their clients. He has written articles on various topics including determining the value of a business, farm succession planning, tax planning and retirement planning.
Prior to joining RBC, Bobby was a Vice President at a boutique business valuation firm in Toronto where he worked with business owners to help them determine the value of their business for divestitures, litigation, tax and estate planning purposes. He also worked with owners to help them identify the value drivers of their business.
Bobby is a Chartered Business Valuator, a Chartered Professional Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. He has also completed all three levels of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course.
Estate Planning & Insurance Specialists
After four years with a leading life insurer, Barrington joined RBC in 1993 to help RBC advisors introduce their clients to a new strategy to build and protect their wealth: tax-exempt insurance. Since then, clients, along with their tax and legal advisors, have come to rely on Barrington’s expertise and advice as a recognized specialist on insurance-based wealth enhancement and protection.
Barrington has a degree in political science and is also an accredited Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA). In addition, Barrington is a member of The Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting (CALU), the organization that represents the interests of over 11,000 insurance and financial advisors. CALU mandates interests specific to advanced financial planning issues relating to estate planning and corporate-owned life insurance to name a few. Always willing to contribute to the insurance community, Barrington is regularly called upon as a featured speaker at national conferences held by life insurers and affiliated industry associations.
Will & Estate Consultants
Ariel graduated from the University of Ottawa with a degree in Business Administration in 1992, and from the Faculty of Law in 1994 where he served on the editorial board of the Law Review.
He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1996. Prior to joining RBC, Ariel spent 5 years teaching Real Estate Law and Estate Law at La Cité Collégiale in Ottawa. For the previous 12 years, Ariel held several positions at a major trust company, culminating in the role of Trust Manager.
Ariel is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (Canadian chapter). His significant practical experience in estate planning and administration allows him to offer valuable guidance during the creation of your estate plan.
