From a young age, Justin displayed a strong interest in finance. He earned an undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University (SFU) and a Diploma of Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), where he served two consecutive terms on the BCIT Board of Governors, helping oversee the business interests and management of the school. After graduating in 1999, he joined a national financial institution as an equity research associate.

Over the following 20-plus years, Justin has built a robust career in finance. He spent more than 12 years in investment banking, working his way up from associate to executive vice president. During that time, he brought valued investment products to market, which were recommended to firms across the country. He complemented this experience with advanced formal education: Justin holds the coveted Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation, the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation, and is recognized as a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, the highest honour awarded in financial services.

As a portfolio manager and investment advisor at Ginetz Private Wealth of RBC Dominion Securities, Justin leverages his broad experience and expert accreditation in investment management to deliver world-class advice to his clients. Justin lives with his wife and two boys in Courtenay, B.C., where they have had family for four generations. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fishing, skiing, and snowboarding.
