1. What is your favourite sport? Favourite team?
Aside from tennis, NHL hockey is one of my favourite sports to watch. Although watching any Stanley Cup playoff game is exciting, I have to say that it was exciting to take in a game at the Las Vegas stadium a few years back. The crowd and the energy, with so many fans from all over the world, it was electrifying.
2. What is your favourite activity to do on the weekend?
Jason and I love taking the dogs for a long morning walk and grabbing coffee at one of the local coffee shops. Otherwise, we enjoy spending time with the kids and friends, whether biking, boating, skiing, or whatever the weather or season permits. Oh, and I love going to the movies. I can’t wait for the theatres to open again.
3. If you could learn a new skill in an instant, what would it be?
I would have to say golf. It would be lovely to learn that in an instant. Until then, I will hack my way around the course. :)
4. What is a place you’ve never been but would like to travel to?
There are so many unique places on the bucket list. A South African safari and a gorilla trek are top of the list for sure. I also really love the simple things – like returning home to Saskatchewan to enjoy a prairie sunset and a bonfire with family and friends.
5. What is your favourite treat or comfort food?
This choice may sound funny, but I would have to say puffed wheat squares. If I could only ever have one last thing, it would be a puffed wheat square—good ole Saskatchewan recipe. My husband Jason makes the best puffed wheat. It’s a great day when he surprises us with this treat.
