COVID-19 has brought companies and countries together for a common goal. In this article we review the singular focus of health care organizations, research labs, and scientists worldwide is to find a cure and vaccine for COVID-19. The rate at which resources have been rapidly mobilized in advancement of treatment, and the level of coordination and collaboration amongst health care professionals and information sharing across borders is unprecedented.
