Earlier this week, at the beginning of the 2020 Responsible Investment Association Conference I received the news that I was the finalist in the Individual Leadership category - market education.

I would like to thank RIA Canada for the opportunity to 'put pen to paper' during the nomination process - it certainly helped crystallize my 'why' and reaffirmed my sense of purpose in trying to affect positive change through my profession. I appreciate the work the organization does in building advocacy for responsible investing from coast-to-coast.

 

Bringing responsible investing to wealth management through market education has been professionally rewarding to me because it combines two process-driven disciplines. Particularly during these increasingly uncertain times, guiding clients through this recent journey has meant they are that much closer to reaching their objectives in spite of the volatility we've witnessed.
