Growing up on the family farm instilled strong core values in Ed, but the financial instability that came with it made him very aware of how families are affected by money-related concerns. Because of this, he now has a passion to guide clients through good times and not so good times, and to mitigate the levels of financial worries that so often accompany unknown financial circumstances or health related situations.

Since 1995, he has helped high-net worth families, business owners and farmers preserve capital and generate tax-efficient income. Prior to joining Dominion Securities, Ed was an Investment Advisor and Branch Manager at Merrill Lynch and CIBC Wood Gundy. He also spent 14 years in Agriculture related businesses before joining the wealth management business.Ed is committed to ongoing professional development, acquiring the designations of Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), Professional Financial Planner (PFP) and is a licensed Life Insurance Representative. He has also been accredited the Portfolio Manager title.
Ed and his wife, Wendy, have been married since 1983. They have two adult sons. Ed is very active in community charity work and with his local Church. He was raised on and worked a mixed farm, owned and operated by his family. In his spare time, Ed enjoys woodworking and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
