RUNNING REFLECTIONS - INSPIRATION FOR THE SELF MADE NATION

When I move, I do some of my best thinking. Running not only clears my head and helps me shed anxious energy, it lights up my creative side. It recharges me.

And no matter how hard a run can be, I always feel inspired afterwards.

So I decided to share my thoughts in what I’m calling Running Reflections.

I’d love to hear what helps you recharge your batteries. What gets you inspired?

Ok. I did it!

1st official outdoor RUN for winter 2021. (January 24 2021)

Stay at home Sunday. Lockdown legs.

Pic: optimistic to start, realistic to finish.

Just like any project or biz venture... right!?!

Weekend… late afternoon 5 K. Survived another winter  run. You would almost think I enjoy it. :-)

The sun was shining so I said... what the heck. Bundled up. Completed another outdoor run - 7 km. Out and back. To my chagrin, I got the headwind on the way back. And, note to self, remember the sunscreen even in the winter.

The thought of the cold was worse than its bite.

Which got me thinking ...

Have you ever noticed that the feelings of anticipation - positive or negative - are often greater than living the experience?

Chasing my shadow and trying to out run the wind on a fine Saturday afternoon. 5 km
