Turning Your Vision Into Your Business

Over the last few weeks, I have introduced you to three entrepreneurs.

While the interviews are unique, I was struck by a common theme: all these entrepreneurs grew their businesses from, and with, VISION. Perhaps you can relate. They all shared the vision, passion, and purpose that was the genesis of their business(es) or services.

You can hear the full interviews on my podcast I’m a Millionaire! So Now What? (listen & subscribe here).

Early in December I spoke with Rachel Whynot of Founder Freedom (Dec 4th: Entrepreneur? Whynot #Freedompreneur).

Rachel created a highly successful business in her 20s which is still a going concern. In addition to that enterprise, she now shares the lessons and insights that helped her build a multi-million dollar business and brand through her newest creation, Founder Freedom. Founder Freedom is a coaching program that encourages budding entrepreneurs to create the business of their dreams, while enjoying life and avoiding burn-out. For Rachel, an important business solution has been harnessing the power of technology and automation, to help keep business from taking over life.  #Freedompreneurs

I also had the pleasure of speaking with Amanda O’Reilly, Coach and President of Balance in Style (Dec 11th: Balance, In Style!)

Amanda founded her firm 11 years ago when she was trying to support a close friend going through extensive cancer treatments, but from afar. Amanda found there was no way she could ‘hire’ casual help to do a grocery run, cook a meal, turn up with fresh clothes at the hospital… all the things she would have done in a second had she been closer. That’s how Balance In Style was born. Balance In Style provides access to comprehensive ‘concierge’ services within a community. The services are designed to facilitate the creation of a smoother path for each client and help reduce the bumps in the road of daily living – whether that’s coordinating a ride to a medical appointment, making vacation travel arrangements, or even getting the docks in at a cottage. In addition to the concierge service, Amanda has also created a coaching/consulting enterprise. Her real vision is to give her clients permission to ‘be’ rather than always feel like they need to be ‘doing’.  She helps her clients identify priorities, practice greater self-care and compassion, and ask for help when they need it.

My interview with Pierrette Raymond, Multi business owner, COO Coach & Mentor, Author & Speaker can be found on the podcast aired yesterday, Tuesday, December 19th (Vivid Vision).

Pierrette is serial entrepreneur who has woven her personal and professional life experiences into her businesses. Frankly, she has a heart of gold. Her current practice is helping leaders and visionaries see their ‘vivid vision’ clearly and create the detailed plans to achieve it. And, as you’ll learn from Pierrette, how you manifest your Vision can evolve overtime. I agree when she says, “trust in you, trust in your own voice, your own experience, your own expertise, because you’ve got it.”

No matter what your vision is, it’s a good time of year to take stock of your accomplishments and look forward to what you want to accomplish in 2019 and beyond. It’s a good time leading into the new year to sit back and be present to reflect on what is truly important to you. As Amanda O’Reilly says – stop doing and start being.

I’d love to know what YOUR vision is for 2019 and beyond. And, even more importantly, what support do you know you’ll need, and are you ready to ask for it? Reach out and share your thoughts with us here. We may have some strategies to support you…

I’m really looking forward to 2019, when I’m dedicating my January blog and podcasts to putting out my big bold vision, my legacy, the impact and the difference I want to make in our society. Stay tuned; I’m really excited to share these with you.
