This week we’re exploring THE ACCUMULATOR

The Accumulator is the Inner Banker. Accumulators are frugal, thoughtful and responsible. They love to save money – it simply feels good and right, and they’re only comfortable when there’s money in the bank. Accumulators find the sales, watch the balance sheet and avoid financial risk. Many items that others are happy to spend on, Accumulators consider unnecessary luxuries. The Accumulator is proud of their financial independence and fiscal responsibility.

When it comes to wealth, you may be an Accumulator if:

• You’re debt-adverse and take care to live below your means
• You’re reluctant to spend money, overthinking purchases and investments
• You judge other people’s money and spending habits
• Saving money pays off emotionally for you– with love, joy and happiness
• Your biggest fear is not having ‘enough’, which would mean becoming dependent on others and losing your personal freedom

For entrepreneurs, The Accumulator predominantly influences the way they’ll balance their books and bottom line.

The world relies on Accumulators to:

• Save responsibly so needs are met
• Build back up plans and emergency funds
• Establish financial independence

Accumulators will always struggle with:

• Buyer’s remorse
• Underinvesting in themselves and/or their business
• Missing out on opportunities for growth – when there’s a price tag attached
