Frustrated U.S. Citizen? As an American by birth, Canadian by choice, I have the privilege of meeting scores of U.S. Citizens each year, who reside in Canada. Their stories are varied. Some are accidental Americans (closest hospital was in the U.S.). Some are retiring to Canada after careers in the U.S. Many wonder if they should give up their U.S. Citizenship. This article discusses some issues for anyone to consider. I always take the view that it is much more than a tax discussion.
