Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities in 1993, Brian built a global expertise in the areas of sales, commercial banking and business development. Since becoming an advisor, he has continued to enhance his expertise to provide wealth management insight to families, business owners, professionals, and Institutions.
A graduate of the University of Guelph, Brian achieved an Honours Business Degree and then completed several post-graduate courses in business and law. A firm believer in ongoing education, he has completed several industry courses in investment management, insurance and life planning. In 2000, Brian met stringent educational and practical experience requirements to become a licensed Portfolio Manager. This accreditation allows Brian to offer discretionary investment management services. In addition to his passion for his wealth management practice, Brian is an active community member, an agriculture enthusiast, and a past Chair of both Grey Bruce Regional Health Services and the Georgian College Board of Governors. He has proudly represented Canada in Ireland, Latvia and Estonia at the World Plowing Championships. Brian and his wife, Susan, live on a 150 acre farm and have four grown children and 10 grandchildren together.
