Good Afternoon Everyone,

This week, the markets climbed slightly higher in general and many companies are starting to report their earnings.  Earnings have been strong and expectations of growth strengthen in anticipation of a move beyond COVID.  The Current Account had some interesting tidbits this week and we have included it for your weekend read.  John Stackhouse talks about Prince Philip, civic duties, and briefly mentions Jeff Bezos' stepping down as the CEO of Amazon.

Did you know that the sales of puzzles increased by 85% in 2020?  I'm not complete surprised, as some of my clients have been posting pictures of their completed puzzles regularly.

Also this week, we have an opportunity to attend a webcast called Living to 100: Financial planning for longevity.  What will be discussed in this 45 minute webcast?

  • Longer life expectancies and unforeseen life events
  • Issues impacting financial security in and into retirement
  • Best practices for decumulation strategies

If you would like to attend, please reach out to Taylor at taylor.miller@rbc.com and he will send you the invitation.

Have a great weekend,

Brenda, Taylor, Joel, and Paula
