Alexandra brings over 17 years of experience to her role of Investment Advisor. She began her career with a competitor firm in 1997 and in 2000, began her career with RBC Wealth Management as a Financial Planner. Alexandra transitioned to RBC Dominion Securities in 2008 so that she could provide clients with a wider variety of resources and services better suited to achieving their long term goals.
During her career with RBC, Alexandra has been nominated by her peers as one of the top Financial Planners in Canada on a number of occasions. In 2007, Alexandra was honoured with one of RBCs highest awards of distinction, the Royal Performance Award and Convention, recognizing her for integrity, dedication and professionalism.
Throughout her career, Alexandra has continued to improve her investment expertise. In 2000, Alexandra earned her Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP) through the Financial Planners Standards Council. In that same year, she also graduated from the first Diploma Financial Planning program through Wilfrid Laurier Universitys School of Business & Economics and has recently earned the Specialist of the Trust Institute (STI) Diploma through the Canadian Securities Institute. Alexandra is currently seeking to complete her MBA at Dalhousie University.
A believer in giving back to the community, Alexandra has volunteered with numerous charitable organizations including Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Ladies in Philanthropy for Southlake, Habitat for Humanity, the Ontario SPCA, Run for Southlake and Canadian Tire Jumpstart program, which is a community-based charitable program helping kids in financial need play organized sports. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing in Whistler, golf, tennis and loves to travel the world.
