As an Estate Planning Specialist, Daniel Duchesne gives advisors and their clients something they weren’t expecting. A different discussion about life insurance – one in which they are completely comfortable.

With more than 25 years of loyal service at RBC, Carole Gherlenda assumed the position of Private Banker in Quebec City in 2010. Having gained eight years' experience in human resource management, she appreciates the personal contact that her new position dedicated to high net worth clients affords. Her background as Account Manager, Business Financial Services in large urban centres has helped prepare her to provide effective advice to business people who benefit from RBC Private Banking services.

Working as a Financial Planner since 2002, Ms. Gherlenda has a Master in Business Administration (MBA). The development and wealth management of a small group of clients suits her perfectly; in fact, in addition to providing a personalized service, she is able to focus on her clients' individual needs and consider all aspects of their lives, be it family, business, succession, or other matters. “I enjoy visiting my clients in their own environment to better understand their needs. This way, everyone benefits from the best services available, from the more simple daily banking solutions to the more sophisticated and intricate planning solutions based on their personal situation.”

Ms. Gherlenda coordinates a number of specialized services with experts to whom she refers in all circumstances. Marie-Ève Lamontagne brings more than 14 years of banking and wealth management experience to RBC Wealth Management, Private Banking. As a Private Banker, Marie-Ève Lamontagne offers comprehensive wealth management and financing strategies to high-net-worth business owners, executives, professionals and their families.

Based in Quebec City, Marie-Ève works with a select number of clients in the local area to address their often-complex banking, credit and wealth management needs by offering tailored, seamless banking and financial solutions. The goal is to deliver unparalleled service while building lasting relationships based on trust and a thorough understanding of each client's unique needs and goals.

When necessary, she collaborates with specialists across RBC to offer clients a full range of complementary services. These include investment management, estate and legacy planning, and domestic and international trust services, as well as sophisticated credit and leverage strategies to support individual short- and long-term goals.

Marie-Ève draws on more than 10 years of experience at RBC, consisting of various roles in management, on the financial planning team and in Wealth Management.

After earning a bachelor's degree in business administration from Université Laval, Marie-Ève went on to upgrade her knowledge and expertise by obtaining her Financial Planner designation.

Richard has a Master in Business Administration (MBA) and a bachelor degree in Civil Law (LL.B.) from University of Sherbrooke as well as a bachelor degree in Common Law (Juris Doctor) from Queen’s University in Kingston. He is a Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM), a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), a Certified Financial Planner Professional (CFP) from the Financial Planner Standard Council and a Financial Planner from the “Institut Québécois de Planification Financière” (F.Pl.).

Before joining RBC Family Office Services in 2015, Richard worked in the securities industry with Canadian and American brokerage firms and with the Montreal Exchange, where he worked as a Trader, Banker, Financial Advisor, Private Advisor and Financial Planner. He also spent three years in a Montreal based law firm specialized in business law.

Richard’s role is to work with and support your advisor in preparing and presenting comprehensive Compass Financial Plans for clients.

Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Michael Neudorf specialized in personal, estate and corporate planning for clients in a national law firm. In particular, Michael focused on providing tailor-made service to clients by assisting them in navigating through personal and legal issues in the most tax-efficient manner.

Michael obtained his Bachelor of Law (LL.B) in 2015 from the University of Montreal and was called to the Barreau du Quebec in 2016. Michael also holds a B.A. from McGill University in Political Science and History. In continuing his studies, Michael is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Taxation from the University of Sherbrooke.

Michael is an active member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Association de planification fiscale et financière, the International Fiscal Association and the Canadian Bar Association.

Paule specializes in tax and estate planning for ultra-high-net-worth families.

Her guidance supports clients in their relationships with their external professional advisors, with whom she frequently interacts.

Paule has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from l’École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) and a Master’s degree in Tax Law from the Montreal University. She has completed the Securities Dealers Course from the Canadian Securities Institute.

As a Chartered Professional Accountant, Paule has more than 30 years of experience in tax and estate planning consulting, in CA firms as well as in life insurance and securities dealer companies. Paule is a frequent lecturer at annual conferences and technical seminars of l’Association de planification fiscale et financière and other professional associations and an active writer of reference papers on tax and estate planning topics.

Paule is a member of the executive committee of STEP Montreal and is regularly involved in various committees of the Association de planification fiscale et successorale. Paule is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec, the l’Association de planification fiscale et successorale, the Canadian Tax Foundation, the International Fiscal Association and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

As a Senior Will and Estate Advisor for the Quebec Region, Tiziana Cirigliano brings an approach to estate planning that centers on understanding and addressing the unique needs of each client.

Tiziana works collaboratively with clients, their families and trusted professionals, to craft a personalized multi-generational estate plan that incorporates Wills, testamentary and inter vivos trusts, and protection mandates. Through this process, she helps clients ensure the protection of their patrimony and facilitates its smooth transfer to the next generation.

Tiziana’s technical expertise complements her skill set in managing
the complexities of family dynamics. She brings a compassionate, knowledgeable perspective that is welcomed by families who may be struggling with the difficult decisions that often accompany estate planning, whether it’s protecting an heir with a disability, providing for children from

a previous union, minimizing family conflict or dealing with beneficiaries or assets that are situated outside of Canada.

Fully bilingual, Tiziana holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Diploma in Notarial Law (D.D.N.) from the Université de Montréal, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McGill University. In addition to her education, she has been a member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec since 2006.
