Senior Portfolio Manager
Catherine is a portfolio manager and senior wealth management advisor.
A lawyer by trade and a Certified Family Business Advisor (CBA), Catherine is able to effectively advise and support clients and their families in all aspects of wealth management. Whether it involves business succession, tax optimization, financial or estate planning, or philanthropy, she works closely with them to achieve even their most complex goals.
With her expertise in family businesses, she supports different generations of entrepreneurs, including leading family councils and assisting family foundations.
Catherine has over 16 years of experience at RBC Dominion as an investment advisor and portfolio manager. After taking over the reins of Groupe Groleau in 2023, Catherine and her team chose to join forces with Groupe Chaput in 2025, with the aim of offering their clients greater depth and complementary skills and expertise.
A mother of two, she sits on the board of directors of the Charlevoix-Saguenay Ataxia Foundation and is a partner of various causes dedicated to children, including the LDT Foundation and the Ste-Justine Hospital Foundation.
Senior Portfolio Manager & Investment Advisor
Benoit is a Portfolio Manager and Senior Investment Advisor.
A graduate of the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in business administration, he has more than 24 years of experience in the financial services sector, including more than 22 years at RBC across different regions of Quebec.
He has held the positions of mortgage specialist, commercial account manager and assistant vice-president, commercial markets.
With this diverse background, Benoit has been advising individuals and companies on various financial aspects for several years. His experience in start-up and business management allows him to take a holistic and practical approach to wealth management, developing comprehensive solutions tailored to the needs of his clients.
In 2025, Benoit and his team have chosen to join forces with Groupe Groleau. This alliance is part of a desire to offer their clients a broad expertise, increased depth and a true complementarity of services, in order to create sustainable added value.
Father of two children and passionate about sports, Benoit is also involved in the RSTR Foundation.
Associate Investment Advisor
After studying business administration, Eric joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2000 and moved into the wealth management industry a few years later. With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, he has extensive expertise in portfolio management and taxation. He also holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation.
Éric acts as a relationship advisor for some clients. He also develops financial and retirement plans, and coordinates more complex plans with our financial planning specialists.
Father of two grown boys, Éric is actively involved with his family while continuing his professional commitment to his clients.
Associate Investment and Wealth Management Advisor
Dominic holds a bachelor's degree in administration with a major in finance and a certificate in economics from Université é Laval and joined Groupe Groleau in January 2023, after holding similar positions at another major financial institution. He holds the Financial Planner designation (F.Pl.) and is in the process of obtaining his CFA designation.
Within the team, Dominic acts as a relationship advisor to a clientele composed mainly of young professionals and entrepreneurs, in addition to overseeing the financial planning component.
Passionate about road cycling and sports in general, Dominic is also the father of a young son.
A graduate of the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières with a bachelor's degree in finance, Raphaël joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2018 following an internship during which he quickly distinguished himself by his rigor and professionalism.
Holder of the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation, he is responsible for the financial research and transactional aspects of the team, in addition to acting as a relationship advisor to certain clients.
Passionate about travel and a former university athlete with the UQTR Patriotes, Raphaël still plays hockey, as well as golf and tennis.
Francis holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and has been working in the financial services industry since 2018, where he held management positions before joining RBC Dominion Securities in 2023 as an Associate Investment Advisor.
Francis acts as a relationship advisor to some of the clientele and plays a key role in the preparation of future generations, particularly in the context of multigenerational planning. With his experience in management, he also coordinates various aspects within the group to ensure the constant optimization of our methods and processes in order to offer our clients an ever-improving experience and service.
Prior to turning to finance, Francis played professional hockey in Europe for six seasons. Father of two young children, he is now involved in coaching and sports development for young people.
Senior Operations Assistant
Marilyne is a Senior Operations Assistant.
She joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2017 in a similar role at another major financial institution with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
In support of the team of advisors, she rigorously monitors operations, trades and compliance. She also prepares tax reports and handles client investment accounting requests.
Client Experience Associate
Mélanie is the assistant in charge of customer experience.
She joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2017 after more than a decade with another financial institution.
With her extensive experience in customer service, Mélanie oversees service and customer relations. She takes care of administrative requests, account openings, documentation and online access, in addition to coordinating the planning of meetings and events. Its role is to ensure that customers have a simple, pleasant and personalized experience.
Senior Wealth Management Assistant
Isabel is a Senior Wealth Management Assistant.
Isabel joined RBC Dominion in 2020 after working for a few years at a funeral home. Her experience with bereaved families has allowed her to develop a great listening ear, sensitivity and understanding of family dynamics.
In addition to responding to clients' administrative requests, she coordinates the various wealth management services. His role is to support the team of advisors and guide clients through the entire spectrum of wealth management—whether it is financial planning, estate planning, insurance or family counseling—in order to ensure a rigorous and integrated follow-up.
