Ted has helped craft investment portfolios for affluent investors since 1993. He joined RBC Dominion Securities in 1995, was named a Vice-President of the firm in 2009 and a Director in 2017. Leading our team’s investment strategy process, Ted works with you to develop your custom-tailored investment plans, and implements these strategies through methodical selection of securities.
Ted holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from Queen’s University, as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designations. He completed the Harvard Kennedy School Investment Decisions and Behavioral Finance Program, as well as the Harvard Business School Investment Management Workshop. Additionally, he is a frequent guest lecturer in McGill University’s Faculty of Management.
Ted actively gives back to our community. He is a Chair of the Board of both Nordiq Canada, and of the Lower Canada College Foundation, and is a member of the Advisory Board of Camp Nominingue. He is a past-Chair at the Fast & Female Foundation. Outside of the office, Ted, his wife, Stephanie, and their three daughters are very active in outdoor sports. They are regular participants in the 160 km Canadian Ski Marathon. Ted also enjoys cycling, and captains the charity-fundraising Nominingue Alumni Dragon Boat Race Team.
