Tammy Johnston joined the Whitters Wealth Management and Financial Planning team in March 2023. She brings a strong foundation of 20 years industry experience, all with RBC Royal Bank. She is an accredited Financial Planner, holding her CFP designation, and specializes in a variety of financial planning disciplines, including but not limited to, retirement, tax saving and estate planning.
She has had an ever-evolving career with RBC since 2004. This includes early contact center roles and branch experience. Her path then led to the role of Senior Financial Planner in Sussex and Quispamsis in 2015. She held that senior position for 7 years. As a Senior Financial Planner at RBC Royal Bank, Tammy was awarded the RBC Leadership Award in 2020 and 2022, as well as the One RBC Award for Advice and Planning in 2021.
Tammy is committed to continuous education and maintaining up to date industry standards and certifications. She has successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course, the Conduct and Practices Handbook course and the Wealth Management Essentials Course through the Canadian Securities Institute.
Tammy is well connected and established in the Sussex community. Tammy and her spouse, Scott love to travel to warm destinations in the cold months and spend free time with friends and family camping in the summer. She also has a love of music and attends live concerts as much as her schedule allows.
