Mark leads the Portfolio Advisory Group at RBC Dominion Securities, which provides independent and objective investment advice to advisors and their teams. The group includes over 30 individuals focused on providing advice on investment strategy, asset allocation, portfolio construction, fulfillment and individual security selection.
Previously, Mark worked on PAG's U.S. equity team for 9 years supporting IAs before venturing into portfolio practice management. Mark has been with the firm since 2000.
He earned a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and is a CFA Charterholder.
Daniel leads RBC Dominion Securities industry leading Institutional Manager platform continues to experience strong growth and recently surpassed $50 billion in AUM. Daniel has been key to the development and expansion of the platform for the past 20 years and is a voting member of the investment committee that hires and fires managers.
Daniel also provides consultation services to families of significant wealth, quasi-institutions and non-profit organizations to ensure all financial activities including investing, planning and risk management are addressed with an integrated and coordinated approach while reflecting the clients' unique objectives and specific situations. He assists in assessing and defining formal procedures and standards of practice for investment fiduciaries. Consulting services encompass the establishment of a prudent process for organizing, formalizing, implementing and monitoring investments and fiduciary responsibilities.

Peter Scott, CIMA
Portfolio Advisor, Portfolio Construction & Practice Management, RBC Dominion Securities
Peter works closely with Investment Advisors who incorporate investment management consulting in the design of customized portfolios for their high-net-worth clients. As a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®), Peter applies prudent decision-making to asset allocation, investment policy, and investment selection. He proactively engages and collaborates with money managers, research analysts, and industry peers across public and private markets to optimize solutions. Peter is also involved in the development of content for the firm’s Financial Literacy, and Responsible Investing initiatives.
Based in Toronto, Sarah is the team lead for the Canadian-based GMR analysts. GMR provides all research, oversight and due diligence on investment managers for use in RBC Wealth Management’s various business channels in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. Sarah is the chair of the equity committee for the Canadian-based model portfolios and has been called upon to present at conferences, high-net-worth client meetings and branches.
Sarah entered the investments industry in 2006. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, she was a senior analyst at TD and the lead analyst for non-Canadian equities for both mutual funds and separately managed accounts. Prior to that, she was a senior analyst at high-net-worth private client firm, Quilter Cheviot based in London, UK, where she was the lead analyst for U.S., Asia, emerging markets, and UK equity mutual funds and was responsible for managing model portfolios. Prior to this she was a fund analyst at Morningstar, also in London.
Sarah holds a Master of Arts degree in economics and a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in economics and management science and a minor in finance. She is a member of the CFA Institute and the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.
Jim Allworth has been in the investment business for 51 years, both as a research analyst and portfolio strategist. He has been with RBC Dominion Securities for more than four decades, where he has developed investment policy for the firm and translated that into solutions for individual clients.
As an investment strategist, Allworth utilizes RBC’s extensive global economic, political, and sector analysis to develop a strategic view on the expected direction of major financial markets. Allworth co-chairs the Global Portfolio Advisory Committee (GPAC) which provides strategic analysis of financial markets and establishes the asset allocation mix for clients worldwide. He regularly contributes to GPAC’s Global Insight monthly publication.
Allworth is a graduate of Simon Fraser University, with a concentration in economics.
Joseph began his career with RBC in 2007 and joined RBC Wealth Management’s Portfolio Advisory Group (PAG) in 2010. Joseph is a member of RBC Wealth Management’s Global Portfolio Advisory Committee, which provides strategic analysis of financial markets and asset class recommendations.
Serving as the chair of PAG’s Asset Allocation Committee, he oversees the management and construction of the firm’s multi-asset class portfolios. Joseph currently focuses on macro and multi-asset strategy, helping to develop and shape PAG’s overall investment views and asset allocation strategy. He previously held positions providing research coverage of Canadian equities and ETFs.
Joseph holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto in the finance specialist program and is a CFA charterholder.
Mikhial leads the Alternative Investment initiative for RBC Wealth Management Canada and has been a long-time member of the Portfolio Advisory team. Mikhial previously led the Fixed Income Strategies team and serves as a portfolio manager on fixed Income and multi-asset portfolios.
Mikhial has been with RBC Dominion Securities since 2008 and a member of the Portfolio Advisory Group since 2010. In his current role, he works closely with colleagues in Global Manager Research to develop a managed platform of private markets offerings and provides advice and guidance on how to integrate alternative investments into portfolios. He also serves as a co-portfolio manager of tactical managed solutions portfolios and a government bond portfolio, and is a member of the Global Portfolio Advisory Committee that provides asset allocation guidance. Before assuming his current role, Mikhial was a Fixed Income Portfolio Advisor and a member of the Fixed Income Trading Group within PAG. Prior to joining PAG, Mikhial was a member of the Wealth Management Generalist Program. Mikhial is a CFA charterholder and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with concentration in Finance from the University of Detroit Mercy.
