Prior to joining RBC, Nathalie specialized in corporate commercial law and estate and trust law during her eleven years in private practice.
She focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions and tax driven corporate transactions, advising small and medium size businesses in connection with day to day requirements, such as shareholder issues, restructuring, strategic alliances and standard agreements. In addition, Nathalie focused on estate and trust planning, tax planning and estate administration and liquidation, implementation of tax and estate plans, Wills, trusts, corporate reorganizations, business succession plans and wealth preservation.
In 2010, Nathalie joined RBC, assisting clients with their overall tax and estate planning, and in 2014, assumed her present position, specializing in assisting high-net-worth clients with their succession, tax, retirement and estate planning.
Nathalie obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree (political science) from Concordia University in 1992. She obtained her law degree from l’Université de Montréal Faculty of Law in 1995. She was called to the Barreau du Québec in 2000. Nathalie also completed her CICA in-depth tax courses, Parts I and II.
She is an active member of The Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (Quebec chapter) and the Canadian Bar Association (Quebec).
Christy Sandles, LL.B, TEP

Christy obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree (Anthropology) from the University of Waterloo in 2006 and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Dalhousie University in 2009. She was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2010.
Following her call to the Bar, Christy was in private practice with a large regional firm and practiced primarily in the areas of Wills, estates and trust law and litigation. Beginning in 2013, she worked exclusively in the area of Will and estate planning with a major trust company. Christy joined RBC Wealth Management in 2018.
Christy is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society.
Mona-Lisa Lavallée, CPA, CA, F.Pl., CFP

Mona-Lisa is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Major in Accounting) from Université de Moncton. Mona-Lisa has completed the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada’s In-Depth Tax Course. She also holds the Financial Planner designation from the Quebec Institute of Financial Planners (IQPF) and the Certified Financial Planner designation from the Financial Planning Standards Council (FPSC).
Prior to joining RBC, Mona-Lisa was employed as a tax manager at one of the world’s leading accounting firms. She specialized in providing personal, corporate, and estate planning services to high-net-worth individuals and their owner-managed entities.
Mona-Lisa believes that planning is critical to helping people meet their financial goals. Mona-Lisa’s role is to work with and support your advisor in preparing and presenting comprehensive Compass Financial Plans.
Jason is an integral member of the team, helping to create, preserve and increase wealth by incorporating insurance-based solutions within comprehensive financial plans.
Specializing in estate planning, Jason applies innovative and tax-efficient solutions to a variety of wealth management issues and is skilled at simplifying their complexities. His individualized approach to personal and corporate insurance planning helps clients achieve their wealth management objectives and reach their estate and financial goals.
Beginning his financial services career in 1996, Jason joined RBC in 2006. Beforehand, he spent 10 years with a leading life insurer, focused on providing insurance solutions expertise to advisors and their teams.

Once Danielle understands your specific requirements to customize your company's Group Savings program solution, she will support and guide you through the development and implementation process. With 13 years of experience within the financial services industry, completion of her RPA designation in March 2021, Danielle brings the expertise required to provide specialized advice that will optimize the benefits to you and your employees.
As a Senior Trust Advisor, Natalie Melanson works with individuals, families, and businesses to provide customized estate, trust and incapacity solutions. She is responsible for managing a complex book of accounts for clients throughout the Atlantic Region.
Whether it is helping someone to settle an estate, establishing a trust to ensure the successful transfer of family assets, or arranging to assist with the administration and responsibilities for a power of attorney, Natalie can help.
She is a graduate of the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics and Public Policy, and has continued to deepen her knowledge and expertise with key industry designations, such as the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation, and is an active participant of STEP Canada.
Natalie is well known within the local estate and trust industry and delivers well-balanced advice by staying abreast of product, industry, investment, tax, and legislative developments. With a career focused on building client relationships, she is dedicated to assisting in the preservation, management, and transfer of wealth between generations by providing solutions to implement her clients’ estate and trust plans.
Bliss Fulton offers an extensive background in client relationships as a Private Banker. She draws on 33 years of experience within RBC, consisting of a wide range of roles within Retail Banking, Account Management of Investments, and Financial Planning.
Bliss has continued to deepen her knowledge and is completing her Certified Financial Planning Designations. She has knowledge and expertise with key industry designations such as Personal Financial Planner, Healthcare Specialist and Business Owner Planning. Bliss volunteers with Outflow, United Way and BGC Club.
Away from the office, Bliss enjoys kayaking, travelling and being with her family.
