I work with individuals, families, and not-for-profit organizations to help them achieve their long-term investment objectives with clarity and confidence. I believe meaningful financial stewardship begins with trust, so I intentionally keep my client base small to build genuine relationships and deeply understand each client's goals, values, and vision for the future.
My role goes beyond investment management - it is about stewardship. I help clients balance growth, income, and capital preservation, refining portfolios and wealth planning strategies as their circumstances and markets change. Supported by a capable team of RBC Family Office Services' tax and estate planning specialists and a curated roster of investment managers from around the world, I develop customized solutions that align with each client's unique objectives.
Before joining PH&N Investment Counsel, I managed institutional portfolios at RBC Global Asset Management, focusing on large pension plans. That experience sharpened my ability to translate complex goals into clear and actionable investment strategies. Earlier in my career, I worked in engineering at Nokia Mobile Phones, management consulting at Deloitte, and investment banking at RBC Capital Markets - experiences that strengthened by ability to simplify complexity and communicate with clarity.
I lead our firm's not-for-profit practice and remain deeply engaged in the community. I serve as a Director of the Royal St. George's College Foundation and as Board Trustee and Chair of the Investment Committee of the George R. Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art. I previously served on the Investment Committee of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada and the Women's Musical Club of Toronto Foundation.
I have a B.A.Sc. in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo with degree options in Computer Engineering and International Studies (Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands). I also hold the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and am a member of the CFA Institute and the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts. I consider myself an avid gardener and live in Toronto with my husband and twin boys.
At the heart of my work is the belief that investing is about aligning each portfolio with the values, purpose, and aspirations of the people and organizations I am privileged to serve. I can think of no greater privilege than being entrusted with our client's financial well-being.
