Kathy’s unwavering commitment to improving peoples’ lives has shaped her 26-year career in financial services. Known for her trailblazing leadership, fearless perseverance, and community-focused spirit, Kathy was recognized by RBC for her significant contributions to the firm with the prestigious Women of Distinction Award in 2021.
Since 1996, Kathy has built her expertise as a dedicated wealth manager that supports and empowers her clients to take control of their financial futures. Kathy’s mission is to make wealth management simple. She takes great pride in her proactive approach; she effectively anticipates her clients’ needs and expertly guides them through each step of their financial journeys.
Kathy joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2002, after the firm acquired the Vancouver-based investment dealer where she was a principal. Prior to joining the securities industry, she had worked as an analyst in Ottawa, where she specialized in business and trade as well as the national economic and financial accounts.
With a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from the University of British Columbia, a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics and Quantitative Statistics from McMaster University, and her Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, Kathy remains dedicated to enhancing her education as well as supporting the education of others.
Kathy’s love of helping people extends into her community work; she regularly offers her time and support to several local organizations. A Vancouver native, Kathy takes a keen interest in sailing, kayaking, road biking, and skiing. Her husband, Jeff Buder, is a PGA (Professional Golfers' Association) of Canada professional. They have a daughter, Lily, and a son, Finlay.

Since starting his career a decade ago, Kurt has worked extensively with high-net-worth individuals and corporations, helping them achieve their financial goals while providing peace of mind in an ever-changing investment landscape. He practices a holistic approach to wealth management, built on strong client relationships and ongoing dialogue.
While working as a bank teller through university, Kurt saw first-hand how the Canadian financial system works and developed a passion simplifying complex financial concepts into clear and concise information for clients. Following his graduation from SFU’s Beedie School of Business, he earned multiple industry designations and is currently pursuing the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
Outside of work, Kurt and his wife, Nicole, love exploring beautiful British Columbia, where they were both born and raised. Kurt also enjoys golfing and traveling, often combining these two passions!

Katerina joins our team from her most recent position as Business Development Manager at Manulife Investment Management. In that role, she drew on her considerable expertise and education to consult with Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) advisors across Alberta on investments and financial planning solutions.
A graduate of the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business, Katerina holds a Master’s degree in Management (MM) and is currently enrolled in the Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) program.
An avid reader, Katerina also enjoys hiking, skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving, and travelling in her spare time. Her travels have led Katerina to 32 countries, and fueled her passion for learning about new cultures and languages. She is currently studying Egyptian Arabic as her sixth language.

With more than four years of experience in financial services in Toronto and Vancouver, Alisa brings a strong foundation in wealth management and client service to her role.
Alisa holds an honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto with a major in diaspora and transnational studies and a double minor in sociology and European Union studies. After graduation, she gained several years of professional experience in marketing and social media management.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, skiing, trying new restaurants, and hiking.
