Joe graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1991 with a degree in communications. In his final year, Joe was drafted by the Ottawa Roughriders Football Club, but completed his career with the Toronto Argonauts. During his time as a professional athlete, Joe accepted the challenge of becoming an Investment Advisor and retired from football in 1995. He understands the importance of partnership and teamwork within client relationships. Joe is committed to performance, quality service and clear communication. 

Joe has earned the industry's highest designations, Certified Financial Planner (CFP) as well as Canadian Investment Manager (CIM). Coupled with his Portfolio Manager, options and insurance licenses, Joe provides a comprehensive approach to portfolio management and estate planning needs. 

Born and raised in Hamilton, Joe is married, has four children and enjoys being active in his community.  Currently, Joe is a member of the Hamilton Estate Planner's Council and has served on the executive committee for Tourism Hamilton.  Joe places a high priority on community charities and youth groups, such as the Catholic Youth Organization where he served as committee member and the Hamilton Football Association where he is Minor Director.  Previously Joe was the defensive co-ordinator for the McMaster University football program.

Wes joined RBC Dominion Securities after graduating from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business. Wes has earned his Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), Financial Management Advisor (FMA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations along with his options and insurance licenses. 

Priding himself in providing the highest level of service to our clients, Wes works closely with Joe on the strategy and portfolio management side of our business. His financial planning experience also allows us to provide a comprehensive range of wealth management services designed to your unique specifications. 

Wes has worked closely with the United Way of Hamilton, chairing the Hamilton RBC Dominion Securities annual campaign for 10 years. He has also served, most recently as Vice President on the Board of Directors for Wellwood Resource Centre of Hamilton, a community based organization which provides supportive care programs to those affected by cancer. 

Originally from Port Elgin, Wes now lives on the Hamilton Mountain with his wife, and their three children.

David began his career in 1981 after graduating from the University of Toronto. He quickly rose to head of institutional fixed income trading, a position he held for twelve years, with a number of prestigious domestic and international firms. He advised both domestic and international money managers on fixed income strategies and oversaw a multi-billion dollar bond trading operation.

David left the institutional business and began his career as an Investment Advisor in 1997. He currently provides sound investment advice to a small number of individuals as well as advising a select group of institutional fixed income clients.

David joined Joe Sardo's team in May 2013 and will continue to focus on the fixed income business as well as partnering with the team to strengthen and continue to grow their wealth management practice.

Kimberlee Parker attended the University of Toronto specializing in math and computers. With over 20 years experienceworking at major financial institutions, Kimberlee has a solid background in the financial services industry and client relations. 

Kimberlee plays a major role with client documentation and portfolio administration helping maintain efficient and seamless service to our clients. She has completed her Canadian Securities Course as well as the Conduct and Practices Handbook. 

Born and raised in Hamilton, Kim spends most of her free time taking care of her young daughter.

Michelle attended the Toronto School of Business in Hamilton, Ontario and has over 20 years experience in the Financial Services Industry, having been with the Royal Bank for over 10 years.  She plays a key role with the administration of our client requests and documentation, assisting with requests such as bank wires, transfers, withdrawals and contributions, helping us to maintain efficient and seamless service to our clients. 
Michelle lives in Waterdown and enjoys camping and spending time with her family in her free time.

Suzane Schultz, CA, CFP 

Estate Planning Specialist

Suzanne Schultz is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Financial Planner with a specialty in tax and estate planning. As an Estate Planning Specialist for RBC, she uses her knowledge of corporate and personal tax to develop personalized insurance solutions to meet the needs of business owners, highly taxed investors, affluent families and other clients. Prior to joining RBC in 2006, Suzanne was the Associate Vice-President of the Tax and Estate Planning Group of one of Canada’s leading multi-family office firms. She was previously a Tax Manager at one of the largest professional services companies where she completed her CA designation with an honour roll placing, and completed the CICA In-depth tax course. She has taken numerous courses on tax and estate planning, including masters level courses on U.S. taxes.

Suzanne is the co-author of 78 Tax Tips for Canadians for Dummies, host of the HGTV series House Poor and has been a regular guest on the Business News Network. She has written articles and contributed towards publications for the Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star and Hamilton Spectator.

Suzanne’s areas of expertise include the use of insurance for personal and corporate tax planning, wealth preservation, financial planning, estate planning (including U.S. estate tax) and charitable giving.


Catherine Nicholls, LL.B, TEP 

Will & Estate Consultant

Catherine received her Law Degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1978 and has been a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1980. She was a partner in a small law firm and primarily practiced law in the areas of residential real estate, will and estate planning and estate administration.

Catherine joined a major trust company as a Senior Will and Estate Planner in 1996 and has since then focused exclusively on this area of law. She continues to focus on will and estate planning with RBC Dominion Securities.

She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Estate Planning Council of Niagara and the Niagara In House Legal Council Group.


Rebecca Henri

Rebecca has been working in a financial planning capacity since 1999 and brings to her role much care in helping clients meet their goals. She received a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree from Trent University in 1996 and has maintained a commitment to continued learning in the areas of tax, estate and business owner planning. Rebecca holds the Certified Financial Planner designation from the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada and has also completed the Professional Financial Planner, Canadian Securities and other industry courses.

Over the last several years, Rebecca has worked extensively with high net worth clients including business owners, executives and professionals, and has gained considerable expertise with advanced tax and estate planning strategies.
